Carolina Collegiate Federal Credit Union Obtains “Green Business” Status
Now Certified by City of Columbia as “Green”

(Columbia, S.C.) – Carolina Collegiate Federal Credit Union, CCFCU, has been accepted into the City of Columbia Green Business Program. CCFCU is one of only 70 businesses in the city that has been extended this honor. “We take great pride in fostering a very environmentally friendly work space at both of our branches” said Anne Shivers, President of CCFCU. “We are the only financial institution in the city to have been awarded this honor, we take that very seriously” said Shivers.

                        CCFCU joins the ranks of distinguished businesses like CarMax, Colonial Life Center, Mungo Homes and others who have achieved this recognition by the City of Columbia. With this title, CCFCU is required to hold to a high standard of water and energy conservation, waste reduction, and pollution prevention in both of its branches.
